Are you a Chinese parent with an extra $880 USD lying around? Send your kid to the Chongqing Children’s Palace to determine what your child might become. CNN is reporting that a few dozen children and their parents are participating in a new program that uses DNA testing to identify genetic gifts and predict the future at Chongqing’s Children’s Palace day camp. Scientists conducting the tests claim that they can extract information about a child’s IQ, emotional control, focus, memory, athletic ability and more. Basically if you’ve got the high IQ gene consider becoming a rocket scientist. If you’ve got the tall gene, strive to become Yao Ming. Great listener gene? Become a musician. You get the picture. I don’t necessarily buy this. I’m pretty tall but being a super model or a professional WNBA player is definitely not in the cards. Would you test your kids?
