Despite negative reviews and an unimpressive box office opening, Dragonball Evolution has been the #1 download on the Playstation Network for its first two weeks of release.There’s still hope for the movie that garnered a weak $4.8 million in its opening weekend. I guess people just didn’t want to spend their money on the tickets when the movie first came out (not exactly cheap).

This announcement surprised me but I think that Dragonball fans got curious and wanted to see how the movie compared to the show. I, being a Dragonball fan myself, was tempted to buy the DVD the other day but thought that 20 dollars could buy me something more satisfying. I’ll eventually buy it once the price drops around 10 bucks.
