I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the new G-Dragon album. There’s a lot of singers in KPOP and APOP in general. But G-Dragon, he’s an artist, and I really respect that. It comes through not just in his music, but his image and music video. So then I was thinking, is Ningin not doing enough for Heartbreaker month? Perhaps not. To fix that, we’re going to introduce something new in our EXP system, pin series.
Our first pin series is the G-Dragon pin series. There’s three pins in the series because we have three different types of prizes, album, poster, and memorabilia. To win the album pin, you need to finish in the top 10 the week that the album is being given away. To win the poster pin, you need to finish in the top 10 in the week the poster is being given away and so on and so forth. All the images came from the Heartbreaker MV, which by the way, has a lot of interesting symbolism in it.
Also of importance is the fact that today is 9/9/09. In case you guys didn’t know, today is an auspicious day in Chinese culture. Nine, nine or “jiu, jiu” in Mandarin means “for a long time” and so I bet you knew someone that got married today. It’s a once in a lifetime numerological phenomena that won’t happen again for another 100 years (technically 1000 years). I hope you guys had an interesting/memorable day. Me, well my company launched BlitzNation, Mixr’s NFL community. We didn’t plan on launching today, it just so happens to work like that. I didn’t know today was 9/9/09 until well past noon. So that’s a really auspicious sign for BlitzNation! To mark this date, anyone that logged into Ningin once today, will get this 9/9/09 pin. All you have to do is log in, you don’t have to score a point with our EXP system or anything, just log in. The 9 on the pin is the BlitzNation font to commemorate it’s launch today.
For those of you that are new since the last time I said this, commenting and scoring points on BlitzNation or any of our sites will count towards your Ningin EXP. Not sure if it’s going to stay that way forever, but for now that’s the case.
Tomorrow starts the NFL season. Join us as we live blog the Steelers and Titans game!
