The summer produced some unbelievably good dramas ranging from funny to romantic, you name it.The following are my picks for best dramas of the summer that made me click and click, anticipating for more.

1. Shining Inheritance. This movie was the number 1 drama while it aired. It features Lee Seung Gi as the main character along with Han Hyo Joo. The drama was able to put comedy and romance so well together. It was great! I watched the whole series in 2 days!

2. Swallow the Sun. For those of you who like Las Vegas, gambling, and adventure, this drama is it. This drama deals with gangs and businesses of Korea and Las Vegas. It’s a very touching story and it’s coming to an end next week. I caught up with the whole series in 2 days as well!

3. Please Take Care of My Fair Lady. This came out in August. It’s doing very well. It features Yoon Eun Hye, a well known actress/singer. She also came out in Goong. I noticed lots of non-Korean people watched Goong and intended on watching just for Yoon Eun Hye. This drama deals with a gigolo and a rich Paris Hilton-like Korean socialite.

4. Dream. This drama is about a fallen sports agent trying to get back up on his feet. His previous boss tries to hold him down in every way he can. The agent finds a young man (Kim Bum from Boys Over Flowers) and together they make a special relationship to become successful. Son Dam Bi is also in this drama as well. Oh and Kim Bum doesn’t play a quiet romantic role anymore. Instead he is rude, loud, noisy, and everything that is the opposite of what he played in Boys over Flowers. Check it out!

5. Heading to the Ground. This drama features Yunho. This came out at the end of LATE summer vacation. It’s been almost 2 weeks since it’s release and because DBSK’s Yunho is in it, there has been lots of anticipation. So far the drama has been great. Yunho also plays the opposite role of the real Yunho you see on TV. Yunho is very loud and a bit rude at times in the drama. The show is doing well so you should start watching and catch up quickly! The first episode already has a kiss scene that involved Yunho!

I also recommend He Who Can’t Marry. The title is already funny and interesting and explains it all!

Well, these are the dramas I watched over the summer. You should try to watch this over the weekends, or when you finish your work. Once you start watching, you will not stop.
