One of the most anticipated movies of the Pusan Film Festival in Seoul has released a few pictures to tease us.

I Come With the Rain is directed by Tran Anh Hung and features actors such as Josh Hartnett (Pearl Harbor, Sin City, Lucky Number Slevin), Lee Byung-hun (GI Joe: The Rise of the Cobra), Shawn Yue (Initial D, Infernal Affairs), and Takuya Kimura from Japanese idol group SMAP. What a diverse cast of actors!

The story basically revolves around an ex-cop turned private eye (Hartnett) who investigates the disappearance of a Chinese billionaire’s son (Kimura) in the Philippines. Along with his former colleague (Yue), the private eye encounters a Hong Kong ganster (Byung-hun) and his drug addicted girlfriend and gets trapped in a conflict between the police and mafia. Oh, and he also has haunting memories of the past.

The movie sounds interesting enough and has a good line of actors too. Wish I could see it but it doesn’t have a US release date yet. It was already shown earlier this year in Japan and next month it’ll premiere in Korea. The movie also has a release in Russia in November.

Hopefully there will be a release date for the US by the end of this year or early next year. For now I’ll just have to settle with the photos.

The pictures below were recently released but if you want to see more of I Come With the Rain go here.
