More Korean singers debuting in the United States! Like Se7en, BoA, and the Wonder Girls, Wheesung will also debut in the states on October 8th.
About a week ago, Wheesung signed a contract with Universal. Universal itself is a very powerful entertainment group. The man producing Wheesung is also well known in the music business. Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins loved Wheesung after a few samples and wanted to work with him right away. Rodney is known for producing albums for hit singers like Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Whitney Houston, Toni Braxton, Janet Jackson, and Mary J. Blige.
Wheesung already has the great start. His entertainment has been trying to get very popular American singers to give him a better start. In fact, Rodney was able to introduce Wheesung to Akon and Ne-Yo and they both wanted to work with Wheesung. They had to choose one artist, and they chose Ne-Yo. I guess it’s because Ne-Yo and Wheesung sings the same type of music. Sources said that Ne-Yo will be composing a song, but they aren’t sure if he will be singing it with him. C’Mon Ne-Yo, give your Asian man some love! The biggest news of all is that this song was originally made for Michael Jackson, but due to the sudden tragedy, it was handed down to Wheesung. Wheesung showed great appreciation and told the media he was extremely nervous.
I can’t get any more proud of Wheesung. I hope he does very well, and people will love his music. Maybe he can be the next Ne-Yo!
