Once upon a time I was browsing through the On Demand channels on my tv when I came across a very familiar name. The words Wonder Girls were smacked right in the middle of my TV and being curious, I selected it and, to my pleasant surprise, their music video for Nobody was playing on my tv. More »

A teaser was released a few days ago, but now we have a full video of Taegoon and the lovely ulzzang Joo Yeon (Afterschool). In the springtime Taegoon came back with strong single Call Me but left himself out of the whole summer girl band domination era. More »

Are you guys getting used to the heartbreak yet? If not, well, just like any other pain, it’ll end eventually. At the risk of sounding emo, I’m kinda sad that summer is nearing its end. We had such an eventful one here on Ningin. Lucky for us, Jinra and the Ningin Bloggers (that’s the actual name of their band) put together a pretty comprehensive list of awesomeness from this summer which was neatly packaged as the 2009 End of the Summer event. See: Music videos, Movies, Dramas, Remixes & Covers, Smash Pop Hits, Live Performances, Strangest News, & Random Acts of Violence. More »

As previously noted by Eusene, a new all-guy group called MBLAQ is debuting under J-Tune. The label is owned and run by none other than K-pop megastar come actor by Rain himself. So you can expect some of Rain’s quirky-ness in these guys? I’m not doubting it. More »

Jaebum left, fans are protesting… where did 2PM go? In a way, they are hiding. To me they are. They could be preparing for their new album, but with Jaebum suddenly leaving, and having all these fans to deal with, I think they are hiding and keeping their activities in secret. More »

Jessica does look good with her blond hair. Legally Blonde the musical, has become an international sensation. I have already seen advertisements in the streets in Hollywood. Korea is one of the countries that will be producing Legally Blonde the musical. What makes it more exciting for Koreans and SNSD fans is that Jessica will be acting as the main character, Elle Wood. Not a lot of people know this, but I was raised on fame in the 80s. And by “fame,” I mean the Irene Cara karaoke version of the song used in the movie of the same name: Fame. Minus a starring role in the Hannah Montana show, I’ve got a lot in common with Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, star of the upcoming 2009 remake out Sept. 25. Aside from both being Filipinas with painfully long names and shiny hair, we’ve both capitalized on this movie. Me by way of forced family function karaoke performances, her by way of starring in a Hollywood movie about young people trying to become famous. Jealous? Don’t be. You’ll become famous with this week’s Fame pin game. More »

If you are a Wonder Girl, I can’t imagine how much you would enjoy this picture. More »

My Dearest Beyonce: I adore you. With every ounce of my being, I try to channel you behind closed doors in my underwear, with hopes of finally nailing down the Single Ladies dance. I, like Kanye, truly believed you had one of the best videos of all time. Until I saw a video of Charice perform your Halo song live at this year’s Big-E fair. More »

Ever have those mornings after a long debaucherous night, only to realize you don’t remember a thing? I know I have once or five times. How about waking up only to find that you can’t remember a thing from being inside a hyper-sleep chamber in deep space? Don’t look at me guys, I’m actually not an alien — can’t shed any light on that. Perhaps, the upcoming Pandorum film featuring world-class martial artist Cung Le, will? Le plays Manh, a space crew member that aids Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster’s characters into figuring out what happened while hungover, deep space-style. I can’t promise full space cadet-hood with the Pandorum Pin game, but at least you’ll remember it. That’s how good it is this week. More »

Choi Ji Woo and Kim Oak Bin were both seen wearing the same Christian Dior rose printed dress but in slightly different styles. Who do you think carries off the beautiful dress better? More »
