Although it hasn’t been confirmed, BoA has been offered a role in a movie called Hype Nation. This movie is about music and dancing, so I am guessing this movie is going to be like 2006’sStep Up.

Sources say that the role given to BoA was for Son Dam Bi. Although this can be such a great step in reaching broader BoA acknowledgment, SM Entertainment has confirmed that she’ll be declining the role stating, “One of our USA representatives did have a conference with the movie maker after getting the love call, but there were absolutely no progress after that. So we are not considering it.”

Despite turning down Hollywood, I still feel so proud to know Asians are getting some recognition in the American entertainment business.
