This is the best Asian movie I have ever seen! This movie has everything. Comedy, romance, cute actions and interactions and love. How can all this be put into one movie? Well the story itself is pretty interesting and well written.
The main character is is played by Cha Tae Hyun. Tae Hyun plays the role of this single bachelor. He has it all: Money, *Self-known* popularity (something you will understand if you watch the movie), and girls. He is the DJ of one of the biggest radio shows in Korea. While DJing, he would always get a call from this girl, played by Park Bo Young, who is a single mother on a journey to find the father of her child. Tae Hyun, being fake for the spirit of the show, adores her and urges her to continue. However, when Tae Hyun goes home one night after talking to that girl, he finds that the man this girl was looking for was him! He was amazed. Already at this scene, things got funny.
Tae Hyun doesn’t know what to do. If he doesn’t keep her, and people found out, he would create a scandal and his image would be completely ruined. He decides to raise his daughter and his kid. In other words, he becomes a grandfather at 36. As time goes on, he seems to enjoy their company and likes having them around, but can’t clearly show it. However, because he tries so hard not to create a scandal, he ends up pushing them away because of his selfishness. During a show that he hosted, he invites his daughter, hoping to work things out and ask for a chance. However, there was a sudden twist. I won’t spoil it though. It sounds interesting enough, right?
Overall, I was SO amazed at this movie. I really don’t watch Asian movies. They are disappointing to me. However, this movie was loved by all my friends. I laughed and almost cried! This is a must see film. This was one of the greatest movies in Korea that broke records and easily gained recognition for being the best of its’ genre.
