The new girl group; Secret is back with their new music video entitled “I Want You Back.” Is this a throw back to Nsync’s mega successful “I Want You Back” track? I don’t know, but I do know that its the same theme. And who wouldn’t want a piece of the former boy band’s success?

Although a bit over done for pop music, its actually refreshing to see a music video focused more on the romantic aspects of a relationship than just the fornication part of it. Despite seeming to suggest only about being hurt, it also focuses on the positive memories that the couple once had. The groups voices switches from lightly synthesized to natural, but their range comes through. It appears they may be among the few this season to survive the mass K-pop birth this season.

We’ll see their competitive edge this Oct 15.
