I think SM simply just wants us to go crazy. This is a 2-part blog, the first was the release of Girls’ Generation’s version, which was released about less than half a day apart. This music video is just slightly shorter than the Girls’ Generation version.

Now that the full music video is out, we can dissect it a little bit. It carries much of the same melody, but its remixed in different types of synthesizer. To match its very futuristic sound, the set is dressed with a very high tech disco and Star Wars-like rooms. Oh and none of that “I’m inside a lighted square box” that’s cliché from the last few K-pop songs the past summer.

I don’t know if its as sexy or as cute as the Girls’ Generation version, but they do this cool leg on the chair thing at 3:15. Once again the song is by Bloodshy and Avant, and is definitely a fresh sounding masterpiece.
