Although BoA has been absent in the American market, she picks up where she left off in Japan with a plethora of promotions. On Oct. 24, she’ll appear in NEC POWER COUNTDOWN JAPAN HOT 30. She’ll also be making a return to upcoming issues “Smart,” “Popteen,” “S-Cawaii!,” and “Sweet” magazines. Will she be in all the covers or just inside features?

I don’t know the details yet, but I do know Popteen has some of my favorite cutesy photo shoots. Hey you know what, though? I’m a guy and no one in Japanese stores actually looks at you funny for buying a girls fashion magazine. (Stares at huge Japanese fashion magazine collection in corner.)

Who knows what happened to BoA’s promotions for her deluxe album? The labels are hush hush about that, and I hope that whatever they are doing is the right choice.
