Once again, my home country has been an embarrassment to myself, family and Girls’ Generation. The mega girl band landed for the Korea-Vietnam friendship, and it was epic. The crowd could not contain themselves, one bit. On top of a very rowdy crowd, the security guards seemed to be on lunch the whole time. Oh, and Yuri was nowhere in sight. Maybe she got the memo in History class that Vietnam was communist?
They were pushed, bumped, groped in all the wrong places! Yes, their hair was grabbed, hands were touched, and their breasts were fondled by both girls and guys alike! Actually, this groping was not limited to the fans, but the dancers insisted on keeping their hands on the girls hips. GEEZ!! molest much?
One female fan at the front of the stage barged in and gave Jessica a forced hug! Wow. Talk about giving someone their personal space. Anyways, Jessica was a great sport and commented that she was quite happy and realized that their support in Vietnam was great. Basically the fans took the “Friendship” part too far. But yeah, what a good sport. Isn’t she dreamy?
So, the guys were actually not only more reserved, but more protective of the girls.
I’d like to clear up one thing, though. The picture with Jessica looking down in horror is a male fan of hers creating a barricade to protect her. Basically he’s a martyr getting his ass beat by other fans to protect Jessica. That’s why she’s in shock. What a guy!
It’s safe to say, Girls’ Generation may be too scared to come back. Oh well, at least you know you’re well loved there! Thanks a lot for ruining it all, Vietnam!!
See the first video for the hugging incident. The rest of the videos show the other chaos that occurred. Sorry for the huge blog post! But this was epic.
Note: ssf for the caption in the Jessica picture. She was shocked by a fan protecting her.
Thanks to Soshified, alebee, kbites, ssf, fallen angel @soompi.
