Ivy has been busy promoting her comeback, after 2 years on hiatus. Her album is already due in a few days. Typically, Ivy looks very beautiful in her photos shoots, candids and even live when I saw her in person. However I think this photo shoot does her a disservice. I don’t know if she’s just really tired, hung over or the lighting was pointing the wrong way.It looks like the dog woke her up by licking her hair. The camera man didn’t even set her up with a good pose. In any sense, it would have been better to reschedule and try again.

Ivy simply does not look her best (probably her worst?) but fans who’ve followed her over the years will assure you she never looks like this. But this does not help new fans who have never heard of her. A magazine like Nylon should of re-worked this photo shoot in my opinion.

Please tell me what you think of the photo shoot. Was it that bad?

^ yeah i actually think the posing and clothes are fine, its just that the makeup they completely washed the color out of her face

I think people don’t think she looks good because it’s a less commercial look for her. I think it’s fine, but then again, I find fashion inspiration in the less mainstream.

It’s not the clothing, though. I think her clothes look good. As people were saying all over online, she looks “sick” or something and her hair looks messy, and her poses aren’t very confident or have that smooth S line. Fashion is much more than clothes, but how the model carries themself and what they are saying non-verbally.
