Ah Korea, the land flowing of milk and honeys. The list of top 10 hotties were decided not just by looks alone, but by their multiple talents. It takes more to impress me than just being a boring model. Dancing, acting, modeling, fashion sense, charm, legs and of course the cute and the sexy factor were all factors. My sister actually voted for the top 3. Oh heck, who’s complaining? I think she nailed it. Notice the three “Y”s, Yoona, Yoobin, Yuri. Can we just convert that to 3 yes’s? How about 3 hell yeah’s?

I took some time to create the Top 10 picture list. Please click to enlarge :)


1. BoA – (singer, dancer, songwriter, model, fitness rep, radio dj, jewelry designer, ambassador) The first, the legendary, record breaker, the one, the only and the angel of Asia. Can she possibly have any more job titles and be in more countries performing in one week? With her mind-numbing charm, extravagant beauty, superbly strict dancing, she’s the most wanted female in Asia. Ok, I could go on and write a book on how great BoA is, but I don’t want to crash our server.


2. Son Dam Bi – (singer, dancer, actress) She sold more phones in 20 minutes than all other rivals. What is it about her that people must buy a phone endorsed by her? Maybe it’s that seductive look and trance she has me in with her impeccable charm during her Crazy performances. Like BoA, she can rock the fierce look.


3. Taeyeon – (singer, dancer, model, radio dj) Redefined the meaning of cute. Never has there been a girl so cute, bubbly, dorky, youthful looking who could also dance up a storm and sex it up too. You simply feel good and forget your worries after seeing and hearing her. Like BoA, powerful vocals in a small package.


4. Yuri – (singer, rapper, dancer, MC/host, model) It takes two to tango, wanna dance? This girl can rap, she can tango, she can also hypnotize you with her legs alone. Speaking of, she’s one of the top dancers in K-pop, and can even break dance a bit. Her charm is so sweet its given me cavities.


5. Jessica – (singer, dancer, actress, model) The warmth of her voice adds dimension to Girls’ Generation. They don’t call her Sexica for nothing. Turning straight girls into lesbos. Just look what happened in Vietnam. The girls couldn’t keep their hands to themselves. Not to mention no one is better at Aegyo than her. With her new musical, Legally Blonde, she is totally up the ranks in hot factor.


6. Yoona- (singer, dancer, actress, model) Like a fine wine, she keeps getting better with age. Something about her lately that she has developed is the “Look.” One of them is so seductive you can’t look away, then the other is the “eye of the tiger,” the look of pure confidence. She was excellent in her role of Cinderella Man.


7. Yubin – (singer, rapper, dancer) She’s so hot, she boiled the swimming pool. Immediately upon listening to her talk, in person or on video you’re simply attracted to her because she has some power to draw people in with her lively, yet laid back personality. An amazing combination, I say.


8. Tiffany – (singer, dancer, model) Oops, did I mess up the whole dance? You would of thought she would have been born blonde, cause she has that ditzy, yet cute and sexy thing about her. In reality she’s like the cheerleader for her team and is actually one of the brightest brains in Kpop.


9. Sung Yuri (singer, dancer, actress, model) With her cute bubbliness, she’s still a little girl at heart, so much that it seems comical. She proved to be just as good in acting as singing, bringing a new dimension to her drama roles, along with her many awards.


10. Eugene Kim (singer, dancer, actress, model) Along with Sung Yuri of FinKL, this main vocalist of SES was the original, hot girl groups back in the late 90s. After SES, she pursued just as an amazing solo career with tracks that I could listen to over and over. Not to mention that she’s a very convincing actress. She looks much younger than she is, and yes, very hot.

Conclusion
I hope none of these girls feel bad about their rank. Actually they all are tied and in fact, all number ones to me. Their bright sense of morality and charm goes a lot further than just some pretty face who’s just lifeless.

^ I tell you what, It wasn’t the easiest thing to choose. That’s why I had my sister pick the top 3 out of the 10 choices I gave her. It just landed that way.

Unfortunately, I haven’t heard back from KoreAM about covering the SDB show in LA this Saturday, and I kinda don’t have $200 bucks to pay for it. You said u weren’t going, right?

Unfortunately...no...you would think that the Koream people would want some free pub…

BoA is truly number 1. However, Dambi and Taeyeon as #2 and 3? It’s no no for me. Sure, Dambi is a great artist but you should not include acting there. Her acting is bad and something bad wouldn’t be a talent, would it? And Taeyeon is not that great of a dancer either. Her moves are weak, compared to other SNSD girls such as Hyo Yeon, Yuri and YoonA.

I heard Yuri rapped in Tell me once and she’s not that good. I am not gonna oppose on Jessica, since that could be her spot and you said true things about her. On with YoonA, my fave in SNSD, truth is she’s not that multi-talented. Her acting needs improvement and so is her vocal. Yubin is ok. Tiffany and good dance shouldn’t be on the same sentence. Like seriously, do you know how many times she messed up, even in MVs?

Come on, there r more multi-talented girls in Kpop. Let’s see: Hyori (singing, dancing, modeling), CSJH Lina (awesome vocal, designing clothes, just set up her own shopping mall), 2ne1 CL (at first i thought she can only do badass rap but her vocal is ok, quite good comparing to some girl group), T-ara Hyomin (this girl is what we call multi-talented: she has strong vocal, her rap is good, she’s also in University, under acting department),…

Actually I do agree with the Hyomin part. She’s like queen of musicals, she has a strong voice, she can dance AND she’s hot…

I am only here to defend my girl Dambi....she is absolutely deserving of the no. 2 position (I am ambivalent about Boa but her accomplishments speak for themselves).  Let’s look:

1) Singer/Dancer:  Arguably the best singer/dancer in K-pop today.  Always innovative and creative and unbelievable depth...look at the range of musical subjects displayed in Cry Eye (Hip Hop), Bad Boy (Pop-Dance), Crazy (Pop-Sexy), and Saturday Night (Pop/Disco) (BTW: check out her ballad talents in singing Forgetting Slowly) Trained in LA with the famous Miss Prissy and is responsible for two of the more popular dance crazes in recent K-pop memory.  Currently enrolled in Kyunghee Univ for classes in Modern Music and is currently in LA continuing her training.

2) CF model:  Received award as the best Female CF model by the Korean Advertising Association in 2009.  Korea media have identified a “Dambi effect” for items she has endorsed and is know as the “sold-out queen”.

3) Actress:  Despite the failure of Dream, most fans/critics agree that Dambi was successful in her acting debut and that her acting improved dramatically as the series went on.  Work in progress but a promising start.

Glad to be here...had to defend my girl :D I think your list is pretty good and the title is appropriate...although I am a one-girl guy myself and so I really stopped at no. 2 :D

Any luck with covering the Koream event with Dambi?  She is going to be around the LA for the next month, maybe you can try and get an interview.

While CL has a good thing going on, I wasn’t attracted to CL as much as the rest of the list.
