Looks like the Jpop artists had their hands full trying to meet this week’s debut single deadline. This week is seeing heavy competition with TVXQ. Along with them is Jpop/Jrocker Mika Nakashima. I try to keep up with Jpop artists from time to time, but due to the overwhelming “worst month of Korean celebrities,” along with the 200,000+ girl groups debuting, the blog time slots have been over taken. But wait… I have to be a citizen of Singapore to enter the pageant and I am not. Also, I have something called the penis which might be in my way. Darn! Anyway given how low of a standard they applied when choosing the previous title holder, Ris Low (who recently lost her title because homegirl was caught stealing other people’s credit cards and going on a shopping spree with them), I think my US citizenship and gender won’t be a barrier of entry. Today is the official day of the PSP Go release. It wasn’t hard to tell, Sony has been airing commercials about the new portable gaming system for the past few days and there ads posted on bus stops and train stations across NYC.

I owned a PSP a few years ago and can’t see myself owning a PSP Go. The price is too expensive ($250) for an all digital portal gaming system (just think the PS3 Slim is only $300). But there are those out there that will buy it and will enjoy it. I’m just not going to be one of those people. More »

Square Enix company head, Yoichi Wada believes that both Sony and Microsoft are not as successful as the Wii since both game systems extend their features at a reasonable pace instead of going all out on one device. Wada also believes both the PS3 and the Xbox 360 have similar games and could get up to the level of the Wii if they produce more interesting and interactive games, although motion control games are very hard to design.
