This video is so good! The song is better too! I can’t believe this is for a commercial. If this was a group, I would adore it. For a Samsung CF, 4 of the most popular/prettiest girls from their groups gathered to record a song and shoot a music video. They are just so beautiful. More »

This is the best Asian movie I have ever seen! This movie has everything. Comedy, romance, cute actions and interactions and love. How can all this be put into one movie? Well the story itself is pretty interesting and well written. More »

What a perfect time to release their teaser. MBLAQ first had their unofficial debut on Rain’s Legend of Rainism tour. The crowd went nuts when they saw these boys perform. Their songs seem very good, and considering Rain is their producer, it seems like they have a good start in the Kpop industry. More »

Surprisingly, an Acehnese woman won the title of Miss Indonesia, much to the dismay of the other 37 contestants who didn’t even show up completely. Well they were there but their faces were veiled according to Islamic tradition. Qori Sandorivia did what most of the world does and went without the veil. More »

From Girlybubble: Weirdest food I’ve ever had but ended up liking? Live octopus on several occasions in Korea. Live, as in, *I could still feel the tentacles wiggling in my mouth as I was chewing–mmm! Octopus in the form of $2 vinyl toys (absolute steal!) called Takochu on the other hand, aren’t meant for eating. More »

More news from the Wonder Girls! On Oct. 9 and 10, the Wonder Girls performed with the Jonas Brothers again in Connecticut. We already know it was a great performance, so I don’t need to specify on that. What I do have to specify is that the Wonder Girls will give fans in New York and New Jersey a special treat. If you live in those states, you can have a meet and greet session with the Wonder Girls. For the people who live in New York and New Jersey, you guys just found the best reason to be living there! From Girlybubble: This is a no-brainer. Hands down, the puppy wins. What is it about glasses making puppies instantly cute? This isn’t to say that they aren’t cute already. Glasses on puppies is exactly how I feel about attractive men, when wet. (What is it about water making attractive men more attractive-er?) Put your answers to that question on hold, as I present to you this week’s cute creature: A puppy wearing pink glasses. More »

Maybe this dream concert isn’t very dreamy at all. Sometimes it could be a nightmare. Dream Concert, the concert of mixed emotions! The Dream Concert has always had a controversy. More »

Breathless is a powerful movie that portrays the trials and tribulations of people who are exposed to domestic violence and the consequences they have to endure for it, through a strong, melancholy atmosphere. The characters and their situations are depicted so realistically that not everyone can handle a movie such as this. More »

V6, a Jpop man group, will be releasing their single, “Guilty” in Korea with the help of SM Entertainment.Considering all the groups SM Entertainment have been releasing in Japan, such as BoA, DBSK, and now SHINee, it’s no surprise a big group like V6 would work with SM. More »

It’s very touching to see how fans, both Asian and non-Asian, unite to bring Park Jae Bum back. More »

From Girlybubble: I am an absolute girlwreck when it comes to organizing my lip gloss. While most women of my girly-caliber (and a high caliber, might I add) keep their lip gloss neatly stored in make-up bags or kits, lip gloss exists everywhere for me — jean pockets, random purses from a season ago, the deep crevices of your couch, in my car (probably not a good idea), the kitchen junkdrawer…just about anywhere. I’m also prone to last-minute beauty emergencies related to missing lip gloss or impromptu girls’ night outings. Luckily, Japan has a solution to keeping my reckless lip gloss displacement habit in check: Lip gloss and mascara cell phone charms! More »

It seems like Rain’s new boy group might be successful. Rain is just more than a worldwide known singer and actor, he’s also a producer. Rain has everything in the entertainment world including connections in both Hollywood and Korea. More »

Heads up Asian cinema fans, the 10th Annual San Diego Film Festival (SDAFF) kicks off, Oct. 15. To date, it’s the biggest Asian film festival in Northern America featuring more than 200 films from Asia and the US. Of course you can count on us to deliver the skinny. More »

The best part is 2PM was able to come out ever since their breakdown after Jaebum left. More »

After starting with weeks of girl groups and girl artists for our weekly prizes, we’ve been doing a lot of male groups and artists lately. It wasn’t planned that way nor is it a big deal, just an observation. Anyway, we got a nice shipment of Super Junior stuff recently so for the rest of month, we’ll be doing Super Junior prizes for our weekly giveaways, including some new Super Junior M - Super Girl albums + posters. The pose says it all! Girls’ Generation’s Yoona was chosen again to pitch in a baseball game! How did she do? Um, well she didn’t have the same high leg pose as Sunye from Wonder Girls or Yuri from her same band, but she gave it her own special touch like pulling the ball behind her head nicely. She even had the “eye of the tiger” before the pitch. Umm, how about, lets just say she at least she looked pretty cute while doing it. More »

From Girlybubble: If I could live in a storefront display of any store, kind of like Lindsay Lohan’s Confessions of a Broken heart music video but with less angst and domestic violence, I’d live in Camomilla. As Italy’s sole destination for Hello Kitty, Camomilla’s Milan location has the cutest store displays for the 2009 Autumn/Winter season. But is it really live-able? I don’t see why not, it’s got all the basics covered: Pearls, chandeliers, roses, beautiful shoes and handbags, Hello Kitty — nothing is missing here. More »

As I was saying with my K-pop boy band and girl band articles, they like to keep it in the family. Mblaq has just started their debut, so the time was ripe to add just one more member. This new member added to Mblaq is 2nE1′s Sandara Park’s brother. I suppose good looks run in the family. More »

It seems that the Japanese company Haruyama Trading Co., has found a way to protect people from the H1N1 flu (a.k.a. swine flu). Their solution? Have people wear their suits. More »
