Question: How can porn be harmful to a small boy (besides killing his innocence)? Answer: By having his pee-pee yield to necrosis and then amputated.

This incident started out when a 4-year-old in Hong Kong decided to watch his father’s porn collection on his computer. While attempting to stimulate himself, his penis sustained tissue damage which led to necrosis. His parents discovered him when he yelped and found him bleeding. He was immediately taken to a hospital but it was too late by the time he was taken in. The doctors had no choice but to amputate his penis.

What was the cause of this? Well, masturbating at a young age can create testicular atrophy (wasting away of a body part) which can lead to the death of tissue cells (a.k.a. necrosis). Minor cases usually involve impotence (inability to develope or sustain an erection). However this boy’s case was so severe that his precious body part had to be chopped off.

The parents were shocked that their son would do such a thing (who wouldn’t be?). He was described as being a “clever, affectionate boy who enjoyed watching Sailor Moon.” The parents are contemplating whether or not to “transform” him into a female as they cried over their son’s lack of child producing abilities. Their feelings are understandable, considering China’s one-child policy; they may never be able to have grandchildren.

What surprised me the most was the age of the young boy. A 4-year-old should not know what sex is. That’s just too young. And how did he stumble upon his father’s porn collection? Parents need to be careful when they’re hiding that kind of stuff. Kids can be very sneaky these days (though they probably didn’t expect their 4-year-old to do such a thing).
