It just doesn’t stop. It looks like SM is having more evidence proving that there was no unfair treatment. To enhance the support from Yunho and Changmin, and their fathers, SM CEO claimed that the accusations and reasons they are suing SM Entertainment were false.

SM’s CEO Kim Young-min stated that the real reason was because of their money and their issue with a Chinese cosmetics company. Months before this case took place, DBSK secretly met up with a Chinese cosmetic company and worked with them. SM Entertainment was not too angry at this point. They even allowed the members to work with the company. He continued how even the members and their parents read the contract and agreed to the long contract because the “DBSK” project was going to be the best of Asia. Lastly, DBSK demanded more money, and SM worked it out with them and it was told that DBSK was telling other members that SM was a good entertainment company to trust. As a result of DBSK actions, SM lost a lot of money and received negative feedback.

Also, a reporter was able to get to SHINee, and SHINee gave some profound answers. SHINee told the reporter that SM was family to them. They were quoted on how much SM is concerned for them, and asked opinions from the members before any action is done. They even mentioned that SM doesn’t give them a hard time. They noticed there was some prejudice against the entertainment and they disagreed strongly. They continued saying there was no better entertainment than SM who is able to publicize their group so well, and still give them the best cooperation and support. They said SM is a company that listens to the artists and works together to give the best to the public.

It looks like other SM connected people are tired of this DBSK chaos. They want this controversy to end, and they want it to happen soon. Do you guys think all these comments will help change the mind of the netizens who all look negatively on SM Entertainment?

^ No you didn’t mention it, and I didn’t say you mentioned it. I was just saying there’s tons of articles out there published that are falicies atm.

the translation of this article http://www.sportsseoul.com/news2/entertain/hotentertain/2009/0804/20090804101040100000000_7287253487.html

He also criticized abnormal methods of calculating methods. According to him, “SM requested money for back dancers and food. Basically, almost all of the expenses were paid for by DBSK.” He added, “besides this, SM created a local subsidiary and divided the earnings of DBSK into pieces. For example, SM Japan and Avex divided earnings, and this was also divided with Korean SM. With complex divisions, the money for the members were reduced.

Also, he stated that the foreign cars were given to them under the company’s name. “They received cars from SM after an award ceremony. However, the cars were registered in SM’s name and is not owned by DBSK.”

So I guess everything they are receiving, isn’t exactly FREE is it?

And as far as proving something to you, I’m not trying to prove anything at all. As far as signing with their parents maybe the contract was different then because I read they modified the contract recently to receive much less profits. In any sense the fact of the matter is 13 years is an ILLEGAL contract in terms of length.

But at the end of the day, who wins? DBSK is sure to dis band at this point due to the 3x penalty they have to pay for early expulsion. I would like to see them continue, but they can’t afford to.

you are talking about the sport interview with DBSK? When DBSK replied to the comments? ;;

I never mentioned that in my post?
I did read about that, but I thought it was too obvious to put it in my post.

I had a feeling it was going to be a fake so I didn’t put it in. I don’t knwo what you are trying to prove to me? haha

On the other hand, if you can prove to me SM gave them those cars, I would be more moved that they had less money.

Then again, why should they complain after receiving all of this? They basically get 13 years of free stuff, popularity, doing waht they want to do. There are restrictions in life, and they have to deal with it. THey signed it with their parents. Don’t you think DBSK is asking for too much to sue SM? They wouldn’t even need to sue if it was some other entertainment. They would have never have become this popular without SM.

“According to Dbsk, the group is not suing because of the Creabeau venture.”

that’s according to DBSK. According to SM, they believe it’s the cosmetic company. Up until now, there were no big complaints until this sudden company came up and went to DBSK without going to SM which is part of the contract.

Both sides have different claims, and both sides seem to be hiding the claim.
DBSK says it’s not the cosmetic, SM says it’s not the contract.

Both parties to me have some guiltiness, but I believe suing your employer who made you what you are now should be satisfied enough.

The whole report does NOT make sense.

Who pays for their cars? Have you seen the rides they have? They also have restaurants they built themselves. According to Crebeau Cosmetics, they invested up to 40,000 + each.

Now, where would they get their money? I don’t know, but it doesn’t seem right they would only show their zeroes.

SM does pay for everything else. Basically all DBSK does is get popularity, represent Asia, get free stuff for about 13 years, and even earn money.
Why would they complain about that?

The Slave Contract will be mentioned further in my news posts smile

There was a press meeting and states

the foreign cars were given to them under the company’s name. “They received cars from SM after an award ceremony. However, the cars were registered in SM’s name and is not owned by DBSK.”

Allkpop first reported Sports seoul interview. A few hours later they reported it was not real. What does this tell you

^ As I was saying before, i was presenting their reasons. It proves my point that it has divided fans, members and the SM family.

Theres a lot of confusion at stake at this moment.
Another thing I hope you saw is that Sports Seoul article interview was noted to be a sham and was not conducted.

At this very time, SM speaks that they will expel the band unless they go back to their original contract by nov.12

Before DBSK was even made, SM invested million in these boys before they even came out so they can be big stars. After that, I believe SM was in hard financial situations. SM is taking back some of the money that was theirs slowly. I guess DBSK feels angry about that, but think about it.

Without SM; they wouldn’t be able to sell 300,000 albums when pre-orders come out. A lot of money goes into these activites than we know, and what comes out is equally divided, or used to cover up expenses in order to do the activites that will benefit them.

According to Dbsk, the group is not suing because of the Creabeau venture.

Here are some reasons why they feel they needed to continue their lawsuit.

1) “DBSK has received $0 for their album sales prior to July 2008, and only a negligible amount after that date.”
On July 1st, 2008, DBSK’s contract was modified so that each member would receive 1% of profit for every album that sold over 200,000 copies. Anything below that would earn them 0%-0.6%. Despite this modification, however, SM has failed to follow through with this policy, therefore leaving the members with a 0% profit, regardless.
2) “DBSK has received $0 for the sales of concert DVDs and albums featuring recordings from such concerts.”
3) “DBSK has received $0 for their appearances on TV programs.”

DBSK is not entitled to any profit for any appearance if the appearance is of a ‘temporary nature.

-Housing (including rent, electricity/water bills, maintenance, furniture, etc.)

-Performing stage preparation costs (venue reservation and the like)

-Staff salaries (including that of the manager, stylists, makeup artists, backup dancers, choreographers, etc.)

-Travel expenses (including plane tickets and hotel reservations)

-Food

These expenses are traditionally paid for by the manager. This is not the case with DBSK’s contract

As far as what I discovered, there’s more to their reasons of why they are suing.
