Next time you’re mulling around Kobe with nothing to do (for instance if the Wendy’s near the station is closed) you might want to check out the Gundam bar “Axis.” Besides supplying Gundam themed drinks of all shapes and sizes, the bar features over 300 plastic figures. Also of all shapes and sizes.

While otaku and drinks do mix, I have to wonder if Gundams and drinks will mix in the long term. It’s only a matter of time before some drunken fool starts making claims that G Gundam is better than Gundam Wing, and a bar fight erupts. Only this time the causalities will be in the form of 300 broken plastic Gundam figures and a few crying otaku.
