Another week in the 2PM drama, or is it? Oh, please there’s never a dull week in the dubbed top controversy of the year (or perhaps all time?) in the Kpop world. Although the drama cooled down from the fans themselves, JYP decided to add his own drama and tension, executed through his mysterious ways. Check it out.

To start things off, the beating heart that was mentioned in last issue finally revealed to be a new track called Tired of Waiting, and a teaser was posted on November 2nd. The lyrics were just what you think they were about, it was about Jae Bum’s departure. ““Tired of waiting. Do you know my heart. Tired of waiting. Do you still remember me.”

On the next day, November 3rd, the countdown timer was reset to 64 hours. Of course the countdown went to 1hr59 minutes to symbolize 2PM, and the whole song was released.

Later on that day, the Hottests decided to decrypt the meaning themselves. They concluded that 2PM without Jae Bum is only 1:59PM. They also concluded that the lyrics to the song was all from Jae Bum’s perspective. While the other side of the fans agreed this was a remarkable marketing tactic.

November 5th arrives and 2PM releases a teaser of I Was Crazy About You. And yes, the songs that have been released lately are based on a 6 man team.

One day later, the full cut of the song is released and additionally, a Hanami CF teaser.

So there you have it. Just because the fans were taking a break, doesn’t mean JYP does. With everything that has clued us in the song lyrics, we are almost very positive that Jae Bum will be returning.
