Last night’s deemed, “Fight of the Year” between Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto, certainly lived up to hype. Luckily, unlike the previous fight between Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton, it lasted longer than two rounds. Not only am I happy that Pacquaio won this fight against Cotto, I’m happy that I got my money’s worth as the fight lasted until the 12th and last round. This win for Pacquiao marks a 7th title in SEVEN weight divisions and pretty much the first time in boxing history that anyone’s ever done that.

Naturally, following the fight around 3 a.m. EST today, 5 out of the hottest 10 terms on Google Trends were Pacquiao-related: “paquiao vs cotto results”; “floyd mayweather”; “manny pacquiao”; “manny pacquiao vs miguel cotto video”; and “cotto vs pacquiao free live stream.” 3 out of 10 Twitter trending topics were all about Manny. Could he have also made Internet history?

Had I have made a bet on this fight, I would’ve also made history. Since I didn’t, I’ll settle for last night’s win and this Youtube video of Manny Pacquiao dedicating the classic Dan Hill song, “Sometimes When We Touch” to last night’s win. Like the Filipino he is, of course.

Watch the fight? What’d you think?
