Just to let you know guys, but this is not a side by side comparison of Ninjas and Vampire powers, but more so what advantages a Ninja has as a Vampire slayer in your party. If you’re recruiting a vampire hunter party, you should have a Ninja on your team. If you’re the leader and already a Ninja, you’re off to a great start. The Ninja by nature, is already equipped to deal with the supernatural, especially the Vampire.
While vampires are quite fearsome and deadly, so is the Ninja. Everything the Ninja has studied and practiced in his life has prepared him to face the unexpected. A mid-class Ninja should have no problem disposing of a Vampire, and an Elite Ninja should have Vampires fleeing back to the castle.
PHYSICAL
The Ninja’s greatest weapon is not his sword, but him/herself. Most of the time, the Ninja relied on cheaply made weapons made in his own backyard. Due to their history, they were commonly very poor compared to the Samurai. However, they possess great gifts and unrivaled discipline. The Ninja can be remain undetected even to the supernatural. While the Vampire may fly, the Ninja may be able to keep up, jumping from wall to wall. If the Ninja has no sword, he/she may use his/her magic. If he is not up to level yet, his strength will allow him to decapitate a Vampires head with his bare hands. . The Ninja makes no excuses, he/she only finds solutions.
MIND
Secondly, the Ninja has no fear. His training erased all fear from his mind, yes even spiders. Ok so you might ask, what if the Ninja loses and becomes a Vampire himself? Much like the reference to BLADE, his/her will has been set so strong, that even under the influence of a Vampire blood, he/she will not succumb the sinful crimes of a Vampire. He/she will seek vengeance on Dracula himself and after completing his/her duties may proceed with honorary suicide.
WEAPONS
Weapons that were merely used for practice, are now the most lethal weapons the Ninja has access to. Everything I list below will have the Vampire playing hide ‘n seek, and thus is one good reason why Vampires have not sought out many Ninjas in their day.
Wooden practice shuriken, sharpened by default: The Ninja’s first belt ranking teaches him how to throw a star into the chest of enemies to be fatal. It will be no problem for a Ninja to stake a Vampire from afar with a practice shuriken.
Steel Shuriken: The Ninja could enhance his throwing star by dipping it in holy water, this would indeed be fatal to the vampire.
Wooden training sword, sharpened: A cheap, but sturdy practice sword given by the school the first day.
Nunchaku, sharpened: Too fast for the Vampire to dodge. They learned everything from Bruce Lee.
Tonfa, sharpened: Powerful stabbing devices that allows them to kill many Vampire at once.
Ninja-to/Katana, Silver tipped steel, sharpened. The Ninja will use this to decapitate Vampires heads off.
Any other sharp weapon deemed plausible to slice off a Vampires head will suffice.
As you can see, the Ninja already had the weapons at his disposal. The best part of it is that these weapons are cheap and easy for the Ninja to make or buy from his/her local market. -Fear not the weapon, but the Ninja who holds them!
ELEMENTAL MAGIC
Once the Ninja becomes a Dragon-master, he’ll learn his innate elements associated by his birth as his/her strongest, and can learn secondary elemental powers once he has done so.
Fire wheel: A passionate Ninja may learn the wheel of fire, which surrounds the Ninja, twirling around him when he/she strikes. Vampires are no match to fire and will perish instantly.
Water dragon: The cool, calm stealth Ninja can learn the Water-Dragon summon, that emerges from the ground. The damage is greater than the worlds most powerful Tsunami. Although some Vampires may survive this mountain destroying summon, the Ninja, if he/she possesses salvation, will infuse this dragon with “HOLY” and will become a Holy water dragon.
VAMPIRE SLAYER TEAM
To complete your Vampire slayer team, you should have the “chosen one” or the Vampire/Demon hunter of this era and a white mage in your basic party. It sure doesn’t hurt to have a battle oriented Exorcist and a black mage as well… If you’re feeling lazy but a little dangerous, you could ask a Ninja-turned-Vampire to join your party, he’d be pretty vengeful and do all the work for you.
You definitely want a Ninja on your team.
The Million dollar question
So with both Ninja Assassin and Twilight New Moon at a theatre around the same time, this begs the question, who’d win the fight, Raizo or Edward Cullen? Two pretty boys facing each other, but one has big muscles and no fear. Hmm, sorry Edward.
