The Ningin Bloodsucker Special: Eastern vs. Western Vampires

In the year 911 AD, the battle of the European vs. the Asian Vampires took place. (East vs. West)The Chinese Tang dynasty’s leader Zhu Quanzhong was to take over Europe, but his ill and elderly nature didn’t allow him to. A rebel within the West who hated Dracula left the vampire clan onward to China to immortalize the leader. A strong pact set before, was that Count Dracula forbade all of his minions to turn any empirical leader of the East into a vampire. Dracula, as violent as he is well known, was a contradiction to himself and was against war. The only paradise to him was on Earth, and if the humans died, so did the vampires. Now, risen undead is the leader of the Tang Dynasty, and even in his after life he is hungry for power, thus he has crossed the European shores all the way to Transylvania and sought to invade Count Dracula’s castle as his first conquest in Europe. This immediately commenced into a fierce battle, with vampire turning on vampire.

I’ll recapitulate their strengths and weaknesses of each vampire class and what might have bestowed to the battle’s outcome.

Army Size:
Dracula’s vampires in Europe were in admirable size and ability, but nothing compared to Zhu’s empire in China, in which was that of many legions under his control. The East outnumbered the West 3 to 1.
While Dracula’s army listened to Zhu’s verbal threat of being outnumbered, Dracula was unimpressed. “Squash them, for they are amongst ants!”

Man-made holy blessed weapons:
Many man-made and holy sanctified weapons were lain out for the Vampires, but few of them were able to come adjacent to them let alone wield them effectively in battle.

Holy water: Both breeds burned themselves while handling the Holy water, so it was discarded in battle.
Shinto markings: The West did not believe in the Shinto Gods, so they were unaffected by the Shinto markings. The West used this and created small barriers with the few Shinto markings they had imported, This worked, but held only a few back until the flames destroyed the barriers.
Jade: is highly protective jewel worn around the neck. The Asian vampires could not tolerate Jade. The West was unaware of its affects and tried to use it against them, yet failed due to its shock it created. Both parties discarded its use.
Garlic: The Korean vampires who’ve been eating Kimchee for years have built up a tolerance to garlic and actually prize it’s tastes. And because of one vampire who was allergic to garlic centuries ago, it persisted a MYTH that Vampires could not consume garlic. Nonetheless, this food was deemed useless in combat.

Elemental weaknesses
Fire: Both breeds of vampires were easily burned by fire just as when they were human, but some were intolerable to fire, especially the West and when the East launched a flame catapult attack. This attack did not last long, since the East burned themselves in the process.
Water: The Asian vampire cannot cross streams of water. The Western vampire is adept in this situation and may cross, and the only exception is holy water. This is explained in detail at the end paragraph.

THE SUN
Both sides made only one agreement. They chose to fight during the witching hour and would be sure to conclude the battle before dawn.

Of course, the Western vampires broke their only promise and continued to fight when dawn approached using their specially designed witch rings. The Asian Vampires lost use of some of their powers due to the suns rays, although they still had enough of an army to continue. Still, the West had an edge at this point.

DEMON and Beast Forms:
Both the vampires of Asian and Western legends change into very powerful forms. It was getting closer to the decision of battle, and with both parties weakened, resorted to their beast forms to power up themselves in battle.

Dracula, the master of all vampires in the West may change into several forms. Some of the forms of Dracula include: Bat, Gargoyle, Mist, Werewolf. He had created several classes of minions, and his elite were able to become Gargoyles and bats, while his mid-class minions transformed only into bats. His lowest class Vampires were able only to mimic human form, and were required to work their way to mastering additional forms. The Vampires of the West were more comfortable living as a human beings rather than showing its monstrous face. This method allows them to become undetected so that they may be able to seduce their prey.

The Asian vampires, who sought the power of companionship with other devils and wizards were able to attain many Monster forms,despite their ranking. Kitsune deemed too powerful for the West. Kitsune, along with the restrictions allowed the East to gain the upper hand near the end of the battle.

Final Strike
With the sun blazing, some of the lesser Asian vampires dropped out. The East continued to transform into their great beasts. The war was nearly decided with these beast forms, as the West was losing and the East was near triumph. The undead Tang Dynasty leader was ready to deliver the final blow.
Zhu Quanzhong commanded the Kitsune to become his true 9-tailed fox. He towered at 100 feet tall, and easily wiped out half all of the Western Vampires army. Dracula was enraged and was about to transform into Werewolf at this time, due to its immense power and little weakness. The Werewolf’s only weakness was the silver bullet, one in which the East did not obtain. He thought of it briefly, yet remained cool because he had another plan. He recalled the curse upon Asian vampires set from a hero who once defeated them before, and his curse did not allow them to cross any running streams of water. So he then commanded his army to move behind the river. At this moment, Kitsune’s 9-tail form expired and was killed. The other remaining vampires could not fly across the stream of water. The West, readying the stake launching cannons, and the archers loading themselves with wooden arrows, fired everything they had and disintegrated the rest of the Asian vampire army to claim victory.

The Future of the Vampires
To this day, Dracula’s servants closely guard each others intentions and keep watch to be sure this event never repeats, as the current time frame holds a leader in Asia with great nuclear power. Although the vampires had slain many humans, they would also protect them against this great calamity,as they too were not immune to the destruction of war. They were united in belief that Europe was their homeland. They also know their only fate after true death awaits in Hell, while these humans are their main source of food.
