This is one of the greatest manga ever. If you are thinking of the Pokemon anime, they’re not even worth comparing. The manga has no princess named Ash, instead you get Red who doesn’t do weak stuff like releasing his Butterfrees. And you get Professor Oak who loves to traumatize little girls. There’s also no jackass Team Rocket trio showing up every week ruining the episode and Pikachu getting kidnapped every other second. This is what the Pokemon anime should’ve been. There’s a new main character for each game and it’s continuing. Currently up to Platinum and although I don’t like the art style that much, it fits the Pokemon world very nicely.

Pictured is Professor Oak using his Spearow to terrorize a little girl who has a fear of birds. He is my hero and he should be yours too.
