Who is best suited to sing a theme song for the Japanese release of a movie based on Disney’s popular fairy icon, Tinkerbell? None other than Ayumi Hamasaki of course!

Ayumi felt joyful and honored that her song, You were…, would be used for a movie of such an iconic character. But how did Miss Hamasaki get this gig? Well, Disney decided that the only person suitable to “collaborate” with Tinkerbell is an icon who shares as much fame as the cartoon character. And Ayumi sure does have that popularity.

You were… will be on her new single coming out on December 29 along with BALLAD, another theme song for a new series called Sokyu no subaru. Will this single be another #1 hit for Ayumi? I have a feeling it will be.

I find Ayumi fitting for anything related to Tinkerbell. Maybe it’s because of her looks and music. Hmm…I wonder if she’ll cosplay as Tinkerbell. That would be interesting to see…
