When I first saw the manga titled “Kampfer,” I was expecting something as badass as this (it’s the mobile suit Kampfer from Gundam: War in a Pocket). Obviously, I was disappointed. Until I read the summary for it. Some normal high school boy wakes up as a magical girl. What can go wrong?

The character designs were pretty good. Unfortunately that was the only other part I liked about the manga. Nothing else really appealed to me. The art was okay and the story was kinda dumb. I’ve been hearing the anime is decent and unexpectedly good so I may check it out someday.
