Gunbuster is a super robot anime (6 episode OVA) with the most hot blooded female anime character I have ever seen. Takaya Noriko is just a normal girl with a pure admiration for an female upperclassman. She attends a school that trains her how to pilot giant robots to battle off an alien invasion. Gunbuster details how she goes from a slightly whiny little girl to savior of the entire universe. She pretty much fights off all the aliens with hot blood and willpower. She wouldn’t feel out of place in G Gundam or other super robot shows. Actually, she could probably take over as the main character.
