Although BoA has been out of the media for a little, she still is on top of her game. BoA lands this week on Oricon charts at the no. 3 spot, which isn’t bad at all. (She peaked at No.2 for a day) The ranking puts her just behind with W-inds, whom she’s friendly rivals with in Japan. Every year BoA has met with W-inds at Kohaku and they always exchange friendly greetings, while the group would mention BoA in their blogs. This puts BoA at 25,000+ sales on the week. It’s also very rare that W-inds has done well enough to surpass even BoA.

BoA’s album which was recently taken off the list at major retailers, once thought to be canceled has been simply rescheduled to Feb. 10, 2010. Hey whats another month? No need to punish BoA for needing more time to finish her work. Her previous Japanese albums were entitled The Face and before that, Outgrow. This time it will be called Identity. I sense a strong progression from her previous albums.

And finally she’ll be at Ontama Carnival Jan. 23, 2010. More info here

Below you can find an interview with BoA (Japanese without subs) But please watch it for her pretty face and voice!

Bonus: Music Fighter performance of White Wishes!

Will you make some White Wishes with BoA, this Christmas? Or will be singing the sad song “Last Christmas” to you?
