And the ball keep’s a rollin’. K-pop is reaching a peak of its 2009 year bad luck awards, who will come out the winner? Super Junior has been in trouble already, from the stints of Kang In. Joining along with TVXQ is Han Kyung from Super Junior, who filed for provisional disposition of the exclusive contract with SM Entertainment at the Seoul Central District Court. That was a mouthful, geez.
Translation: Dude is not a happy camper with his low percentile paying 13 year contract.
I knew it wouldn’t be the first and only time that an SM artist chooses to face litigation against their own employer, because of the snowball effect (pun for Christmas here) TVXQ created. Jae-Chun-Su sued their own parent company and recently were declared by SM, “an impossibility by to go on with activities for 2010.” (ie. TVXQ is canned by SM.)
SM Speaks:
“For the sake of Super Junior, they will try to settle this through communication.”
Lawyer’s of Han Kyung are keeping it simple and not revealing any details about his decision to leave (or not leave) Super Junior, other than his unhappiness within the contract.
Despite that Girls’ Generation took no.1 for 6 awards, SM is definitely not having a good year.
Stay tuned on more bad luck regarding SM artists.
