Upon much thought and speculation, it seems blinking is a far more serious problem than we’d anticipated it to be. Sure, I thought this blinking situation could be easily resolved by posting a weekly wrap-up post featuring every story that was published this week, but then I realized something quite epic: Blinking, happens super often. I can’t even tell you how many times I blink a day. The Mixr solution to excessive blinking comes to you in the form of a new daily featured called, The Daily Mixr. Apparently we blink 16 times a minute, so about 23040 blinks per day. And this will definitely keep us updated, I never knew so many blog posts happened in just a day. Extremely beneficial; blinking is no longer a problem, because Jinra is here :D !

Funny thing about blinking. I had LASIK last month, and my eyes are still recovering. My optometrist told me that we tend to blink once every 3 seconds or so (16 times a minute, as i2ayumi states), but on the computer or while reading, we usually blink every 4-5 seconds. I was advised to keep my computer sessions to a maximum of 20 minutes before taking a 20 second break.

You got LASIK?! congrats! :D I bet it served you well!

^ aww thats rather unfortunate about your computer :( hope you manage to fix it ^_^ i brought my laptop back from the dead after about being proclaimed permanently dead for like 4 months.

Yes, I definitely need to be taking those breaks. I look at the computer for...most of the day it seems.
