The age old question will finally be answered. Who would win in a boxing match, man or machine? The answer is surprisingly mundane.

Japanese robot builder Naoki Maru has been hard at work making robots to take on people. This past year he produced one that was one meter tall, which he then used to challenge a boxer to a match with.

While the robot is no match for a flesh and blood human, it does put up a good fight. It also makes me fear for the future of the human race. Its only a matter of time before Naoki starts making his robots 50 meters tall and with lasers on their heads.
