Avast! Out from the rubble of Ellegarden’s passing comes a new band called Nothing’s Carved in Stone, and they’re nothing short of impressive in terms of musical prowess.
Ellegarden decided to call it quits when the members could not find a single driving force to produce another album, but Ellegarden fans, do not fret! After the band parted ways (for good it would seem), Shinichi Ubukata, the then lead guitarist for the band gathered a few artists together to form what is now known as Nothing’s Carved in Stone (Takeshi Hosomi, the lead vocalist decided to form his own band as well, entitled The Hiatus). The two bands seem to deviate from Ellegarden’s sound quite significantly, but out of the two, I’d say that Nothing’s Carved in Stone strays a little less far from the Ellegarden legacy. Provided is a video of one of their singles entitled, Isolated I hope you like intense bass lines.
Enjoy! And be sure to check out the other article on The Hiatus (my favorite of the two)!
