The figures are good, VERY good. The latest Final Fantasy game has sold over 1,500,000 units out of 1.8 Million that they shipped in the records that Famitsu reported. This figure is in Japan, and the PS3 alone. (There is no Japanese Xbox version) Hmm I guess they were quick to get the figures out because they didn’t release the one-week figures yet.
What do players buy along with their brand new game? Nice that you ask, cause the sales of the Playstation 3 went up to 245,406 units in a week. That is several times the amount that Metal Gear Solid 4 sold in PS3’s, and it was a bundle all across the world. In addition, a huge spike was created for LCD HDTV’s, and the figures are still in counting for the HDTV sales, and how many of them were Sony Bravia’s, which is the co-partnered endorsement of Sony and Square Enix.
As for me, my Sony Bravia and PS3 are lonely waiting til March 3rd when it arrives in the US. I’m ahead of the game! I got my Bravia TV and PS3 2 years back for this day. (lol).
