When it comes fashion in the world of Asian pop this year, I’ve only two words: avant garde. We’ve seen it in everyone from 2NE1 to just about every boy band that debuted this year. One can only speculate that this trend for the high-end has much to do with the Internet introducing the masses to the world of high-end fashion and the fact that…Kpop is kind of a big deal. Unfortunately for you and me, avant garde fashion is synonymous with high-end. High-end is synonymous with me spending a sizable amount of time drooling over clothes I cannot afford. Hence my Christmas wish for 2NE1’s wardrobe!

This year 2NE1 has donned at least one piece from collections I loved the most this year: Balmain, Maison Martin Margiela, Alexander Wang, Sofie Ann Back, Galliano, Kokon to Zai…I could go on. Check out my most coveted 2NE1 looks:
