In China a man named Lo Wung taught a few monkeys some basic taekwondo moves only to have them smack it back at him across his head.

Lo Wung wanted to entertain some folks outside a shopping center in China’s Hubei district by having his monkeys perform a few tricks. However things went wrong when one of the monkeys decided to to give Wung a kick in the head when he slipped during the show. I guess it’s understandable why the monkey did this; it probably felt humiliated or scared with people around laughing and making noises.

Bystander Hu Luang described the scene as being better than a Bruce Lee film. “I saw one punch him in the eye - he grabbed another by the ear and it responded by grabbing his nose. They were leaping and jumping all over the place.”

The trainer, of course, got fed up and picked up a staff to strike out at the rebelling monkeys but his actions were thwarted as he received a blow to the head from a stick-wielding monkey. He was eventually able to control the monkeys again after he tangled them up in a rope that kept them from running away. As punishment he made them kneel on the floor with their hands tied behind their backs to make them feel remorse for their behavior. Sounds a bit cruel but at least he’s not hitting them (though I have a feeling he probably did that in the privacy of his home).

The guy must have felt embarrassed during this whole fiasco but all is not lost. At least he was able to entertain the people. Must of have been quite a sight.

Wow! The monkey even has his leg tugged in tight like they train you in class! You lose points if your leg isn’t tucked in. And you also lose points if your eyes are not on your target.

The monkey has both, along wiht his forward shift of his upper body helps distribute mass x energy. What a good monkey XD but bad for that guy.
