A truck driver in the Chiba Prefecture of Japan was arrested last Friday for property damage done at an entrance to an apartment that belonged to a lady he liked. Did he graffiti his name in a heart on her wall? Nope. Did he nail a love letter to her door written in his blood? Naw, that’s old school. He started a new tradition by urinating through her mail slot on the door and into her home. Now that’s a way to show your love! More »

If I had one wish, I would give it to Girls’ Generation. No doubt. More »

From Wirebot:

Popcorn and the movies. Television without commercials. Yoo-Hoo and a glazed donut. Some things in life are just perfect for each other. Video games and music are one of those things. While gamers are unable to control the requirement to earn that last gold trophy/achievement, they are able to control what pumps through their speakers while doing so with custom in-game soundtracks. To help change up that stale rotation of old-time favorites, the Wirebot bloggers will be providing a suggested playlist every Friday. Our recommendations this week include songs from: Dance Gavin Dance, All That Remains, Team Teamwork and a few others. More »

Japan is lucky that it has the longest life expectancy in the entire world. The downside to this is that its population requires a lot of adult diapers. A lot. More »

From Wirebot:

Chocobo’s are so freaking awesome, and instead of spending Microsoft points on something like a monkey, a cat, a dog, or a snake, all you have to do is register your Gamertag and you’ll receive your download token for your very own Chocobo via E-mail during the holiday season! More »

The release of John Woo’s Red Cliff has passed and so the Red Cliff poster giveaway closes. Just as Red Cliff is an epic film about the Battle of Red Cliffs, the battle for a Red Cliff poster was something to not overlook. In the end, we could only have one victorious winner. More »

From Rekuru:

It’s a fact: girls (most of them anyways) don’t like bugs. There’s just something about those creepy, crawly little pests that send women into a fright. But Nausicaä, the heroine and star of Nausicaä of the Valley of Wind, isn’t like every girl. She likes-nay, LOVES bugs and is able to communicate with them unlike us spider squashing, raid wielding, bug bombing ruffians. More »

The time has finally arrived. Everything that I’ve been helping to promote about Final Fantasy XIII bears fruit. At least in Japan, the gamers are lined up to get their copy of what has been hyped up to be one of the best games out there — at least for the new generation of consoles. This is the first Final Fantasy to be released as a next-gen, high definition game. More »

From Swandiary: The excitement for New Moon just won’t cease. Proof? A lot of you sunk your fangs into last month’s SwanDiary giveaway of an autographed Justin Chon headshot. The giveaway has ended and I’m happy to announce the winner, but before I do so — please know one thing: Justin Chon may play human Eric Yorkie, but you can’t actually sink your fangs into his headshot. It won’t bleed. More »

China has a lot of people. That’s a fact. So it makes total sense that China would be the place to have a condom fashion show to promote proper condom usage. More »

The trailer is now available on the main website here. Now you don’t have to put up with the crappy camera versions previously available on Youtube. And it looks even more delicious now, but it’s studio Deen. I’m sure they’ll find some way to screw it up. If they don’t then it’ll be a pleasant surprise. I still want to watch it no matter what though, even if everyone says it’s terrible. If you watched the F/SN anime and remember episode 14, you’ll know what I’m looking forward to seeing.

From Flauntme: Welcome to our new FlauntMe.com weekly special: the International Beauty Report! Each Wednesday, we’ll be bringing you information on beauty secrets, trends and products from around the globe. Today’s beauty trend comes from one of my favorite destinations: Japan.

Sometimes we all wish that we had a little more collagen in our skin to keep it looking smooth and young, but the Japanese are pro-active about getting plenty of it; they actually enrich foods with collagen in order to improve their skin. More »

WHYYY? WHY was Three Rivers canceled? I would have watched every last episode and bought the series on DVD just to watch Daniel Henney play the rich, handsome, womanizing Dr. David Lee. TV gods, if I had only one request of you this Christmas it would be this: bring Three Rivers back! More »

From Ziggytek: Nothing is more ironic than the location of the world’s largest solar powered building; China. China, being known as one of the biggest carbon emitting countries, is also home to the world’s largest solar powered building. Located in Dezhou, Shangdong Province in northwest China, the world’s largest solar powered building has an area of 75,000 square meters and sources 95% of its energy needs from its premises. It has its own 5000m2 solar panel array, solar hot water, a solar desalination plant and a solar energy theme park! More »
