After a slow start, Wirebot has finally decided to participate in the tournament leading up to the current 3-3 tie. They seem to mean business, but Ningin is still holding it’s own against them. Read on for today’s MLG tournament coverage.
Shuriken 2
Wirebot’s William Leary has the lead with 59650 points. There’s still time for Ludachris714 to catch up as he’s only trailing behind slightly. Maybe Ludachris714 will bust out actual ninja moves to dominate this game tomorrow
Target Shooter
Team Ningin’s blogger Danny Truong is in the lead with Jeffery Kuo trailing behind by 200 points. According to an insider source, Jeffery Kuo is slowly losing it over this tournament. In my inbox this afternoon, a chat transcript between Danny and Jeff was found:

…
Come on Jeffy, it’s just a game.
Shopping Cart Hero 2
Wirebot’s Yuliya Geikhman means business with a shopping cart. That said, Wirebot’s in the lead. AnabelStars isn’t used to pushing around a shopping cart like Yuliya is.
Quicktype
Oh well, what do you know. I’m still in the lead here for Ningin. Must be because I blog so often.
Death vs. Monstars
Oh look, Wirebot decided to play but now Ningin’s Lillian Tran is in the lead with 6,000 more points on William. Way to go Lillian!
Escape the Red Giant
Wirebot’s team captain Spencer vonHershman is currently the highest scorer, with AnabelStars right behind. Spencer is great at escaping, I guess.
Word Machine
This game has been officially removed due to the fact that it’s way too easy to cheat given all the online scrabble word generators. The MLG association only tolerates fair play.
Overall:
Things are pretty nerve racking for the second day of the tournament because of the current tie. Surely if there’s a tie, a sudden death flash-off will be in order. Here’s to hoping tomorrow will be an exciting day. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s MLG tournament report!
