Friends, I am blogging to you in a state of audio bliss; Charice’s full Pyramid single feat. Iyaz has leaked! Earlier I speculated that it’d be pretty good, but listening to the full version, I feel as if it has a big chance of becoming a top 40 hit. It’s a pop song that’s kind of a ballad, but slightly on the up-beat side. The lyrics are also pretty simple enough to follow along. I can imagine listening to it live would be a greater experience.

Also, not to take too much attention off the Pyramid single, but I really think the demo for “Electric” should be a single:

It’s a great way to kick off 2010. What do you guys think?

This is a good start for Charice


^ She does need a memorable ballad of her own. But I heard in an interview that she wants to change her genre, which shows in this new single. So it might be a while if she does produce a good ballad.

I think the single sounds alright for now. I need to hear the final version.


I think it’s pretty good. I wonder if she will have any classic ballads of her own.

Pyramid sounds like a song Jojo or Jordan Sparks passed up and Electric has Chris Brown all over it. I’m just going to wait for her other songs to come out.
