This week Ningin is playing against BlitzKuTek, a team of allied bloggers from football site BlitzNation.com, J-entertainment site Rekuru.com and gadget site ZiggyTek.com. Ningin currently has the lead with 4 points to BlitzKuTek’s 2. Here’s a breakdown of what’s going on so far:

BlitzKuTek’s EricMerkys has the lead here. Seems like all those years playing with rubber duckies meant something.

Armored Ashura 2
Yet again, BlitzKuTek’s Blaize Pennington is in the lead, but hopefully not for long. Come on Ludachris714! Let’s start playing!

Gingerbread Circus
Ningin mod i2ayumi is the biggest freak I know. Freak as in, Gingerbread Circus freak — she’s currently the second top scorer! Come on, Derek Wu, let’s start playing.

Karate Monkey
Wake up Danny Truong and Jeremy Kenarangi! Especially Danny — you have Jeremy to beat here. Let’s not dawdle!

Word Blix
Oh look, it’s me leading yet another MLG tournament game. BRB gonna go file my nails or wash my hair…

Pushori
Ningin’s Lillian Tran is Pushori-ing it reaallll good. Against no one. Are we playing this tournament against ourselves here, BlitzKuTek? Come on. Let’s play!

HeadSpin: Storybook
If AnabelStars were to write a storybook, it’d probably be about how she’s currently owning BlitzKuTek because they haven’t (officially) stepped up to the plate yet.

Overall:
Ningin’s strong lead of 4-2 implies a lot; Ningin isn’t playing around with this flash game business or BlitzKuTek needs to start…playing. There’s still more time left in the tournament for more excitement to build. Stay tuned tomorrow for Day 2’s MLG Tournament II report.
