In this past week’s episode of 30 Rock, James Franco (Spiderman movies, Pineapple Express) guest stars as himself with a very special companion.

Franco basically plays himself as a celebrity trying to cover up his anime body pillow fetish by being in a fake relationship with one of the show’s characters. Though it’s sort of obvious his character has an attraction to Kumiko-ton (that’s the name of his body pillow), Franco tries to convince people that he indeed does not have a fetish for this certain inanimate object. One of his attempts include this:

Franco: Liz, are you familiar with Japanese moe relationships where socially dysfunctional men develop deep emotional attachments to body pillows with women painted on them?

Liz: I am not, James.

Franco: NEITHER AM I, LIZ! Which is why it’s SO weird that tabloids are running all these stories saying I’m in love with a body pillow!

I found Franco’s and Kumiko-ton’s appearance on the show amusing. It gave me a few chuckles. The two were even involved in a threesome (if you can even call it that…). How scandalous! You can watch the episode on Hulu.

Funny how, if I blogged about how I have a fetish for James Franco, no one would care. Gahh always losing out to the anime pillows!!!

I don’t have a fetish for James Franco but I do find him super attractive.
