If Ningin was one big neighborhood, it seems most of us wouldn’t mind having spies as next door neighbors. Typically, it’s easy to assume that no sane person would want spies for neighbors, but I’m only making this assumption based on the results of The Spy Next Door pin game. Or, I could be totally wrong and it’s actually another movie we had all wished to do well but didn’t. The general consensus at Rottentomatoes states, “Lacking a script funny enough to cover up for Jackie Chan’s fading physical gifts, The Spy Next Door fails on every conceivable level.”

Ouch.

That said the film closed in at a 9% Rottentomatoes score. Luckily for Jackie Chan, it’s not the only project he’s got going on this year. He has directed Little Big Soldier, a film that’ll be out in Asia next month.
