As you probably have all heard, Wonder Girl Sun Mi will be leaving the group at the end of February in order to pursue her academic goals. Along with this news, JYP Entertainment has announced that Sun Mi’s replacement would be seventeen year old Hae Lim.

Hae Lim has been a JYP trainee for three years. You may recognize her if you’ve heard of the “Chinese Wonder Girls” group named Sisters that has been creating some news in China. Originally from Hong Kong, Hae Lim is fluent in four languages: Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.

depending on how many tracks they finished with sunmi, it might have some of each

so their english album...is it going to have sunmi’s vocals or this new girls?

Her dancing skill looks good though.


i really hope she’s got good vocals though, i dont want another “sohee” T_T i was really saddened that sunmi wasnt given as much of a chance to display her vocals with the songs they promoted, i really missed hearing her deeper stronger voice she had (like in Irony)


Awwww… I’ll miss Sunmi, I do wish she comes back after her studying. The Wonder Girls wont be the same without her… T_T

Shame. A lot of people didn’t like Yoobin at first, but she showed everyone that she was one BAMF.

Its shameful, yes. But theres a huge difference though. Wonder Girls were just starting out and hardly anyone even knew each member, so changing any member at the time had null effect.

People had 3 years to get attached to SunMi, but almost no time at all to get emotionally attached to Hyuna.

Wonder Girls became a huge success, and in part with the Rap with Tell me and So Hot, Yoobin quickly gained her own fan base. Right now they are already known and established so its its quite difficult to make any changes at this stage.


Shame. A lot of people didn’t like Yoobin at first, but she showed everyone that she was one BAMF.


^ I’m willing to give the girl a chance. I just feel bad, that Sunmi is gone now. Hae Lim isn’t that “pretty” though. -_-


Because that SunMi left, a bunch of fans already hate on her already.. Its going to be one hell of a ride for the new girl!


Dang that’s a lot of languages.  It won’t be the same without SunMi but good luck to Hae Lim!
