Killer robot maid that is. Personally I always figured the Japanese would be the first to come up with a robot maid, but hey, kudos to you Korea for pulling it off in such a weird and freaky way.
Developed by the Korean Institute of Science and Technology this robot maid can make your bed, clean your clothing, and take out the trash. What it can’t do is love you. That’s coming in the next model.
While we probably won’t be seeing any of these wandering the the streets of Seoul, we may end up seeing them in toxic waste dumps or in coal mines as their intended purpose is to work in conditions too hazardous for people. Which is probably why they’re also teaching them how to clean clothing and take out the trash. To help with Korea’s infamous hippy drum circle problem.
