Rain (Bi) used his magic stick to win another battle. He can breathe a huge sigh of relief, from battling his exhausting allegations of concert cancellations in the past 4 years. Rain has been freed of nearly $4 MILLON US dollars, once thought owed to Click! Entertainment, and to be used to help MBLAQ succeed.

In 2006-2007, Rain planned on touring in the US. However, that ambitious dream was halted due to due some strong reasons. A small-time Beatles tribute group was also performing under the name Rain, as well as concert venues were never ready on time for him to perform. These excuses were deemed valid to the court, who decided that Rain was innocent on all charges.

And yes, it does takes that long to settle a lawsuit. It’s a lot of stress to think about for years, and years although you were innocent in the first place. Although to you anti-fans who might not think or care that those reasons were a big deal, they were. Legally one cannot perform under the same name in the same country. And how can one perform in the first place when you arrive and your stage isn’t even set up? Let’s perform without speakers and microphones..why do the attendees need chairs? Who cares? *INSERT SARCASM*

Congrats, you get ‘em, Rain!

Thanks to kbites

At least he’s finally free of this nonsense. Now he can think about better things.

wow there pretty hard on him

Careful! using “hard on” and magic stick in the same thread could result in some random censorship issues. This thread might be censored in Korea!

This was tried in Korean court? That doesn’t make sense.

I don’t get it either. QUOTE:
A South Korean court Thursday dismissed a lawsuit claiming almost four million dollars from singer and actor Rain, ruling he was not to blame for cancelled concerts during a troubled US tour.

TucTo. Yeah now that I think of it, the “legal” term of innocent means nothing to do with it completely. Not guilty is you did something, but it wasn’t wrong as far as accusations go. But if you look into it, his reasons were definitely good. You can’t perform on a stage thats not built, and cant perform if someone else has your name.

I don’t think “innocent” is the right word. “Not guilty” would be a better substitute in this situation (my best friend is a pre-law… Go figure). He still cancelled the concerts, which doesn’t make him completely innocent.
