BoA’s performance of Possibility was a little awkward due to microphone (or earpiece) error. A second in a row for S.M. entertainment’s artists. Just the other day, Girls’ Generation had a technical error.

BoA was set to perform Possibility with Daichi Mura. When the intro faded and her vocals queue was up, the microphone (or ear piece feed) did not work. She was left on stage without her microphone on for a full minute, just standing there waiting for the techs to get back on queue. A little awkward? Well BoA is a professional, so nothing really freaks her out. And the fans are ok with it too. (No demands like the OH! perf) Someone forgot to hit the switch! Luckily, they started over so everyone would be on beat and the audience wouldn’t miss the first minute of the song.

BoA can’t sound bad, it’s physically and musically impossible


I hope this doesn’t happen again. BoA sounded good non-the-less. Hope they do another performance because this one really… got messed up because of the tech errors. ><

Danny what did you think of the performance?

A large consensus, including myself DO NOT think this performance was great.
I feel the technical error disrupted Daichi’s concentration too much, as many fans on Jpop forums spoke out that this is very unusual of his performances. He was definitely out of harmony and still confused from the first error.

Even a seasoned veteran like BoA knew she’d be thrown off if she didn’t have a proper feed into her earphones so she decided to stop. How do you expect Daichi to do well if even BoA was a little thrown off?

sometimes singers don’t have much time for rehearsal, as SNSD put they had maybe a few hours for Oh! Due to their schedules on one day alone. That might have been the case here too.

Thats why its mandatory to make sure everything works technically. Some singers adapt, but some don’t. It doesn’t make one necessarily better than the other in an overall sense.

theyre both the same shade of blonde now XD Jaejoong just recently dyed his hair the same color as BoA

It was an alright performance. Daichi sounded off. And BoA looked a little like Koda Kumi (the hair) XD


I don’t think they should be fired. That’s harsh. Mistakes happen, and they happen like that. It doesn’t really matter if it’s a “high standard performer” or a small artist. The tech people shouldn’t get fired over that.

Well they better get something for such a horrible job.

No offense, but the guy ruins it. BoA doesn’t need anybody in a song… Maybe m-flo… But that’s about it.

I’ve never seen them have a bad performance. Taku is always so goofy and Verbal always has an extreme amount of energy on stage.


Awww. Disappointed. Miura Daichi’s voice is usually good live, but uh not here. =\ BoA messed up a bit near the end too. But only that one part.

For BoA who is a high standard performer, well she shouldn’t get this kind of treatment at all. I don’t know who was in charge of the sound backstage, but they should be fired. I understand certain things can happen, but not like that. When she really got the chance to sing; she sounded amazing. The guy on the other hand, not so much. He couldn’t even reach the higher notes. I hope we get to see a better performance without these kind of problems. Cause she deserves a lot better and we all know that.

The guy… I think his voice… just doesn’t go with her. Especially around 5:00-6:00
