Alas, I am finally caught up to episode 8 of the hot new Korean drama called Chuno or Slave Hunters. I must say, this is one of the best dramas I have seen so far in my drama-watching career. Not only is the story fresh, but the way the plot is laid out gives an ongoing feeling of suspense. Also worthy of mention are the fight scenes, which are beautifully choreographed. I highly recommend this drama to anyone. Romance, action, comedy. It’s all here. Invest some hours into catching up, if you can, so you can follow my weekly analysis!

SPOILER ALERT!

So for those of you that have been watching, we all now know that Jeju Island is the place to be. Daegil still has no clue that Unnyeon is traveling with Songtae, but the inevitable meeting is coming soon.

Aside from the obvious Daegil-Unnyeon-Songtae love triangle, there is also the situation between Sulhwa and Daegil. She obviously has feelings for him, but is afraid to express them. This will most likely come out as jealousy later in the drama when Daegil and Unnyeon are reunited.

I’m also curious as to how the whole political situation on Jeju is going to play out. From the previews, it looks like there’s going to be some sort of coup d’etat. Interesting.

Stay tuned for more in depth predictions tomorrow!!
