Figure skating is an event in the 2010 Winter Olympics you do not want to miss. Did you know a third of the skaters in the Women Division of Figure Skating are Asians? The Asian skaters include: Miki Ando (Japan), Mao Asada (Japan), Mirai Nagasu (USA) and Kim Yu-Na (Korea).

Kim Yu-Na, a 19-year-old skater representing Korea, is favored to win the Gold.

In my opinion, Mirai Nagasu will give a strong fight against Kim Yu-Na for the coveted Gold Medal. I know she’ll do well. On Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, make sure to tune-in to your local channels that is showing the 2010 Olympics and watch these ladies compete for the Gold. I know I will!
