Alexa Chung, hipster turned model turned MTV talk show host turned fashion designer graces the cover of Vogue UK’s March issue. The feature on Alexa Chung is an essay she wrote on jeans, her fashion obsession. (And mine!) “Denim is a symbol of youth, sex, rebellion and, most essentially, America,” she writes. “Buying jeans is our first foray in American style.” One that she’s come to know well. “My denim shirts appear to be breeding in the bottom of my wardrobe,” she jokes, “and my newfound appetite for all things dungaree is becoming a worry.”

Sidenote: Everytime I read an interview of hers in a magazine, I can hear her British accent reading to me in my head. Embarassing? Yes. Back to the issue at hand:
