Ban is a 2-year-old dog living in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. She gets bored once and a while and sometimes climbs a wall and sits on top of it to pass time. I wouldn’t blame Ban for being bored since the space her owners keep her in is very narrow and confined. Ban learned to climb the wall herself probably because she was bored and wanted a better view of the neighborhood. If I walked past and saw a dog like that I would think, “Oh, what a nice statue,” at first but when the dog moves I would get freaked out. I don’t see many dogs sitting like that in my neighborhood. It would be sort of like those people who pretend to be statues or wax dolls and then they suddenly jump at you. It’s funny until it happens to you; then, it’s hilarious.

You can witness Ban doing her thing below. I like how they put dramatic music in the background as they reveal her sitting posture.

Hey, I think this is the same show I used to watch in my Japanese class. I watched other clips and they had the same dramatic music playing. Lol. That dog looks so chill.


omg that is so freaking adorable! i should train my dog to sit like that.
